Daily Announcements

We’re excited to be participating with Artsonia to display your child’s artwork online.  We invite you to view Memminger’s Art Gallery with this link: http://www.artsonia.com/schools/school.asp?id=64612.  Please visit today to help raise funds for our school’s arts program! Artsonia will donate 15% of every purchase of art keepsakes to our school’s arts program.  Artsonia offers a variety of products from mousepads, t-shirts, greeting cards to magnets, coffee mugs, and bumper stickers.  These items would make great birthday gifts!  Thanks for your support!

Memminger is becoming a community magnet school: Memminger School of Global Studies – a University Partnership school beginning in the fall of 2009.

Come to a school open house and learn more about Memminger School of Global Studies (MSGS).

“If we are to achieve a richer culture, rich in contrasting
values, we must recognize the whole gamut of human potentialities, and so weave a less arbitrary social fabric, one in which each diverse human gift will find a fitting place.”
Margaret Mead

Check out Ways to Help Earn $$$$ for Memminger

1.  Memminger can earn up to $20,000 from the Box Tops for Education program.  Be sure to clip your Box Tops from popular cereals and household items, bring them into school and drop in the drop-off box in the office.

2. Recycle your old cell phones, ink jet and laser jet cartridges at Memminger.  We earn points to use toward resources for our school, thanks to Funding Factory.

Please do not use Vickery's Parking Lot as a drive through when picking up or dropping off your students.  Principal Dixon has met with the Charleston County Police Department and they are working with our school to establish safe and efficient drop off procedures for our school.  We will keep you posted on the status of our traffic issues.
