We empower students to discover, create, and expand their understanding of the world in an open and welcoming environment. We support all school and community stakeholders through collaborating, teaching, and removing barriers to learning.

Hello everyone and welcome to our library! At Memminger, we incorporate our IB traits into all aspects of learning. Our risk takers are trying out new books every week as well as inquiring recommendations from peers, teachers, and myself. Students are always encouraged to find what interests them when checking out books from the library. We want our scholars to develop a life long passion for reading.
Before deciding to become a school librarian, I worked for three years as a First grade teacher. My love for childrens' literature brought me to this career. I received my undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in Early Childhood Education. When not at school, you might find me at Folly Beach enjoying this beautiful place we get to call home.
